| Starter Site | An informational site is not dynamic. There’s no forms to fill out, accounts to log into, newsletters to subscribe to, or products to purchase. This is purely for you to put content on the internet. Think of it as expanding the single-page, or one-pager, website by diving down deep into each section so that they can get their own dedicated pages. Now we’re talking about adding a header and footer to your site along with navigational menus. My deliverables to you:

| Basic Blog | If you’re planning to write and publish to the internet, then you’ll need a little bit more than just a website! This builds upon the static, informational starter site package by adding the ability to publish blog articles and allow readers to (optionally) comment and search through them. | User Accounts | Perhaps parts of your website is only available to members! We can add user accounts with the login, logout, account, and profile pages and conditional content. | Custom Page Template | If you need a page template beyond that of the ones listed in the package (e.g. templates for product pages, product listings, wiki page, portfolio pages, testimonials, etc.), then this will be a flat rate… unless you’re asking for customized features on the template (e.g. personalized or relevant articles, embedded content, etc.), then please see my weekly development rates. |
| Encryption | This is included with my FERPA and HIPAA compliance add-ons in the maintenance plan, but you can also choose to include this on your website for user-generated content such as member account data and form submissions. Usually, when information is stored in a database, anyone with database access can read it because the information is in plain text. Information like your members’ email addresses or the messages they sent you. With encryption, anyone with database access instead will see what looks like jumbled up, garbled text. The content can only be decrypted by your website and made accessible to approved users. Rent-a-Dev
Are you looking for something custom? Perfect, because that is where I thrive! However, I have a curveball to throw at you. I don’t offer hourly rates. Instead, I offer flexible development slots and flat weekly and monthly rates. Why? Because you should pay for results not time! No commitment required. Think of it like a hybrid retainer, but it’s pay-as-you-go and only for what you use!

| Slot | Each “slot” is an arbitrary chunk of time and I only accept up to two slots per day, so think of it as a half day of work for me. You can also hold onto the slot until you need to use it. It won’t expire! | Sprint | You get me for an entire week from Monday morning to Sunday night.
