Quick Start Guide

To get started with the Accessible Reading WordPress plugin, there are two steps: getting your API key and configuring the plugin.

  1. Get your API key

    The Bionic Reading® API is hosted on RapidAPI with free and paid subscriptions available.

  2. Install & Activate the Accessible Reading WordPress plugin

    Follow these instructions for installing and activating Accessible Reading on your WordPress website.

  3. Save your API key in the plugin settings

    While logged into WordPress backend navigate to Tools > Accessible Reading in the sidebar. In the Settings tab, the copy and paste the API key into the API Key form field, then click Save Settings.

  4. Create a new blog post

    With the API key and default settings, you’re ready to go! Simply create a new blog article and whenever you click on Save Draft or Publish, your accessible content will be generated. It does not save when auto-drafts are created.
